Am I eligible for Vfleet? How do I sign up ?
Yes, everyone is welcome to join Vfleet. Go to your nearest support centre or installation centre to sign up and enjoy the benefits of Vfleet.

Can I subscribe Vfleet from any sales channels ?
Yes, Vfleet is offered by all support and installation centres. In fact, you can also refer to any Vfleet user to subscribe.

How do I get Vfleet mobile app ?
After you subscribe with Vfleet, we will send you an email with:

  1. Instructions on how to download and install our Vfleet mobile apps.
  2. Your Login password and account details.


How will I be rewarded from the Customer Incentive Program ?

The Customer Incentive Program appreciates all Vfleet users and rewards our customers who share our services with others. Monetary reward will be credited to the user’s account periodically. For further information, you may visit our nearest support centre.

How do I install the device ?
After you have registered online as a subscriber, you may make an appointment with our nearest installation centre for installation of the device. It will take approximately 30 minutes for the installation process depending on the type of vehicle you possess.

Will there be any charges for the installation?
Upon registration by a subscriber, there will be installation and activation fees charged to the subscriber. As such, no charges will be collected by the installation centre after the installation has been completed. However, an additional fee of RM50.00 will be collected by the installer in the event the subscriber wants to add on an optional installation of the immobilizer function.

(Optional: Value Added Installation Services Provided at Customer’s Premises)

If you opt for the installation to be carried out at a location of your choice, callout charges will be applied as follows:

  • Callout installation within 20km radius: RM50.00


What happens if I change my car?

Please contact our customer service in the event you change your car. You will be required to go to our nearest installation centre to transfer the device to the new car. An additional installation fee of RM100.00 will be charged and paid to the installer upon device transfer.

What if my car is stolen?
Vfleet device comes with a tracking system, i.e. Global Positioning System (GPS). If your car is missing, you may immediately stop the car remotely using the mobile app (immobilizer) and report to the nearest police station that your car has been stolen. You may also provide the investigating officer with information on your car location.

Remarks: Refer to Car Theft Guidelines. Various type of alerts from Virtual Alarm System (VAS) will be sent to your smartphone in case of car theft.

Would there be additional cost in the event the car is stolen and the device is not recovered?
No, there will not be additional cost charged to the subscriber.

What happens if I terminate my Vfleet subscription?
In the event of termination of your subscription, your Vfleet platform will cease to function. You may go to our nearest installation centre to arrange for the removal of the device from your vehicle. Please be advised that the Vfleet subscription is based on a compulsory ONE-year period; therefore there will be no refund upon termination before the requisite ONE year is up.

How long it will take to uninstall the device?
It will take about 15minutes for the removal of the device from your vehicle. However, the removal time may vary for every vehicle.

What does Vfleet do with my data?
We care about your privacy. All data collected is used in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and will be kept strictly confidential. Vfleet provides a self-monitoring security system that allows you to access your own data and will not be revealed to a third party, unless you request for the data to be forwarded to any party, or in the event of any legal proceedings which require said data to be disclosed to the Court for adjudication.

What is Virtual Alarm System (VAS)?
Virtual Alarm System (VAS) is a security system that is connected to your car and runs inside your smartphone 24/7.

  • The system provides you with visuals of your car wherever you are at any time.
  • It provides various security alerts even when you are away from your car.
  • VAS greatly reduces the chances of car theft by sending out alerts to your smartphone the minute someone tampers with your car.
  • VAS allows you to use your smartphone to remotely shut down your car engine (immobilise) before the actual theft takes place.

What is Global Positioning System (GPS)?
Global Positioning System (GPS) is a tracking system that is connected to your car and provides you with information such as the location of your car at any specific time.

  • The system records real-time location of your car, which is then stored in the Vfleet server for your own access and reference.
  • GPS gives you information on speed, mileage and driving skills.
  • It provides reports based on your mileage and also monitors your fuel consumption.
  • GPS also greatly increases the chances of recovering your car in the event of theft.

Will I need to pay for the Vfleet device?
Vfleet device is FREE of charge. The device belongs to VSEEN. However a yearly fee of RM365 (RM1/day) and a one-time activation fee of RM100 will be charged. These fees are for the platform services provided to you which include SIM card activation, server maintenance, web-base and mobile app development.

In the event the device is no longer being used, we request that the device be returned to us forthwith. The device should only be uninstalled by our VSEEN authorised installation centre. You may make an appointment with our nearest centre for the uninstallation and removal of the device.

Can the device be fitted into all vehicles?
Yes, the device has been made to fit all vehicles.

Where will the VSEEN device be installed?
The VSEEN device will be installed in a hidden location somewhere inside the vehicle and it will not be visible to anyone.

What is Immobilizer ?
An Immobiliser is one of the functions available in the Vfleet security system. It allows the user to remotely shut down the engine with Vfleet mobile apps wherever the user happens to be. For example, in the event of a car theft, the user should activate the immobiliser immediately to prevent the car thief from driving away the car.

Installing the Immobiliser requires additional re-routing of wiring during installation.

Can an Immobiliser be installed in all vehicles?
We recommend that the immobiliser be installed only in vehicles which are past the warranty period since the installation process involves minor re-routing and alteration of the original factory installed wiring, which would cause the original warranty to become null and void.

What type of information does the device capture?
The device comes with an inbuilt accelerometer, GPS/GNSS antenna and various sensors to record time, mileage and vehicle status.

Are there any other channels to access the data apart from the smartphone?
Yes, you may also access the data using a computer. However, reports can only be generated through a computer.

When will the device be installed?
You will become eligible for the installation of the device after receiving the Vfleet subscription confirmation email upon registration. Show this email to the installer for account verification before device installation.

Is there a deadline for the device to be installed?
No, there will be no deadline for device installation. However, your Vfleet account will be valid for ONE year from the date of receipt of the Vfleet subscription confirmation email.

Will the installation of the device damage my vehicle?
No, the installation is simple and the process involves minimum interference to the vehicle. The devices are manufactured to stringent controls and are automotive certified.

Will the installation of the device deplete my vehicle’s battery?
No, the device will not drain the vehicle battery even when your car ignition is turned off. The device is designed for ultra-low power consumption.

If I bring my car to the workshop for repairs or change of battery, will it cause any problem to the device?
No, it will not cause any problem to the device. However, you may ignore the notification alerts during the car repair or when the battery is being removed.

Will there be any charges involved if the device is damaged or tampered with?
Vfleet provides lifetime warranty for the device throughout the duration of subscription, except in the event of damage due to misuse, tampering, or unauthorised interference and alteration by third parties, in which case a replacement device will be provided at a fee of RM300.

What happens when I encounter a technical problem with the device or mobile app?
You can contact any nearby VSEEN service centre or our customer service.

What if I drive into a basement car park? Will the device still record data?
The device still records data for Virtual Alarm System (VAS) whenever there is GSM coverage for the SIM card even in basement car parks. While the Global Positioning System (GPS) will show you the location before you enter the basement car park and continue its tracking when you exit the car park.

Why is the tracking line not accurate?
You may check the refresh rate in the system where it is set for 10 seconds interval by default. Longer interval time may result in tracking line inaccuracy. Furthermore, all the devices are calibrated for ±10 meters variance from the actual location which sometimes may be the cause of slight inaccuracy.

Why is my ignition showing as ON even though my vehicle is parked?
If you drive into a place without GSM coverage, for example a basement car park, and the last event recorded before entering the basement is ignition ON, your smartphone will show the ignition ON status although the vehicle is parked. However, as soon as the vehicle is driven out from the basement car park and into GSM coverage, all events including ignition OFF and ON while the vehicle was in the basement, will be updated accordingly.

How is my vehicle ignition status updated?
Your vehicle ignition status information is updated on Vfleet mobile app when your vehicle is in use. For example, the mobile app will give you notification of switching the engine ON or OFF within 3 minutes.

What shall I do with the device if I decide to sell my car? Does the device belong to me?
This device is owned by VSEEN. In the event the device is no longer being used, we request that the device be returned to us forthwith. The device should only be uninstalled by our VSEEN authorised installation centre. You may make an appointment with our nearest centre for the uninstallation and removal of the device.

Any alert to be sent out if the device is detached or removed from vehicle?
Yes. The system will send out notification or call alert to the user when there is any interruption of power connection in the car.

Whom do I contact if there is a possibility of vehicle theft?
Vfleet provides you with a self-monitoring security system. So, you may track your car immediately and stop the car remotely by using the mobile app (immobiliser) before your car is driven away by the car thief.

Am I required to download an application onto my smartphone?
Yes, you are required to download the mobile app “Vfleet”. The app can be installed on iOS and Android devices.

How do I access my Vfleet platform data?

  • After the device has been installed, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please take note of your login details.
  • The email you receive will provide a link to the download. You are required to download the Vfleet app from the App Store or Google Play and install the app to your smartphone.
  • Enter your login details, followed by registering your own password on the first-time login page.

What if I forgot my username and password?
You can always click “forgot password” to retrieve your password or contact VSEEN customer service for assistance.

If I do not receive my login info?
Please contact VSEEN customer service for assistance.

I use more than one phone, can I download the app on each phone?
Yes, you can. Vfleet provides multiple login for each account.

What happens if I encounter a technical problem with the device or mobile app?
Please visit our nearest support centre or call VSEEN customer service for assistance.

Does VSEEN support centre operate 24/7?
Our customer service operates from Mon – Fri (9.00am – 6.00pm) for technical assistance only.

In case of car theft, please refer to Car Theft Guidelines. For your information, Vfleet is a self-monitoring security system, so steps to handle potential car theft will be available in the mobile apps.

Can I have multiple login?
Yes, you may access the mobile app on more than one smart device with your login details.

Will I be able to see all my cars installed with the Vfleet device or does it have to be of a different login?
You may see all your cars within the same system using the same login details. However, you will also be able to separate your cars into different systems using different login details.
